Olympic champ and South African star athlete, Caster Semenya, is facing a difficult time as her talent is called into question. However, she's receiving a lot of support and comedian Trevor Noah made it clear that he backs her.
Trevor Noah has joined the horde of people who are supporting champion athlete, Caster Semenya.
The talented runner has been in the headlines since the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) ruled that she should take hormone-suppressing treatment to lower her testosterone levels.
To add salt to the wound, the IAAF welcomed her to take part in men's events.
There are few people who agree with this ruling, and Trevor is not one of them. He shared his opinion on his TV show, The Daily Show, and made it clear that he doesn't agree.
The comedian is not impressed that the IAAF wants Caster to change who she is, and feels it's not right.
"It's not like she's doping. She didn't change her body in any way to gain an advantage. She just has a natural advantage, which is what happens in all sport."
Although he joked, Trevor made a valid point.
Sadly, this may not help much as the athlete has hinted at an athletics exit after the harsh IAAF ruling.
