IEC disappoints EFF over reaction to claims of double voting

The Economic Freedom Fighters feel let down by how the IEC handled issues during yesterday's elections. The party feels that the entity has disappointed the nation with the way it has handled claims of citizens casting more than one vote.

The EFF is disappointed in the IEC over how it handled claims of people casting multiple votes.

The party released numerous statements on the issue, with countless people taking to social media to report similar incidents.

Briefly.co.za reported yesterday that the party had called on the IEC to tighten security in light of the allegations.

Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, spokesman for the party, says that the IEC has failed to respond to the allegations, saying that:

"People who were registered for special votes pitched up and voted again. There are important things the IEC can't give you - answers as to what they're going to do to reconcile them."
