SA musicians, Chad da Don and Kelly Khumalo, shared snaps of their recent baptism on social media, which they say was to strengthen their relationship as a couple.
There is a belief that when you want to grow closer as a couple, you must first strengthen your relationship with God. Which is probably the reason why rapper Chad da Don and singer Kelly Khumalo chose to do a joint baptism recently.
They both shared snippets of their joint baptism on their Instagram accounts.
“Kelly and myself got baptised by my hero and pastor. Clean and washed in Jesus' name. With God there’s always a second chance for a fresh start.”
According to ZAlebs, the couple has received mostly negative attention, with some people evening regarding their reunion as a public stunt, however Kelly and Chad have pushed on to become one of the most talked about celebrity couple in Mzansi.
Their relationship, like most relationships, has had its fair share of rough patches and setbacks since the beginning of this year. There were rumours about their breakup as they deleted snaps of each other on Instagram and then Chad confirmed the break-up to the public.
But after a few months, it seems that love truly conquers all, as they have gotten back together and seem more happier now than ever. They are engaged to be married and Briefly.co.za cant wait to see that happen.
Three days ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Chad da Don and Kelly Khumalo have faced a lot of criticism regarding their relationship, but they actually couldn’t care less. The opinion of the public has clearly had no effect on their relationship and that ain’t going to change.
The stunning pair have been dominating headlines since the day their relationship was made public. Chad and Kelly are madly in love and there is nothing anyone can do about it!
Briefly.co.za learnt that Kelly recently opened up about the struggles of being in an interracial relationship on Trans Africa Radio. Kelly stated that even in South Africa there are places where people still stare at you and pass unpleasant comments.
