South Africans reacted to BLF leader Andile Mngxitama's reason to why they're not the leading party in the elections this far.
The Black First Land First (BLF) party participated for the first time in the national elections this week but it did not quite go as they thought it would.
Briefly.co.za earlier reported on a statement the BLF leader, Andile Mngxitama, made as the ANC led in the number of votes thus far.
"What happened was that white people voted for the FF+ and black people have not voted for us. That's the bottom line," he said.
We took a look at some of our readers' reactions to Mngxitama's statement.
Shaun Johnston said: "It's all because you and your party have ridiculous believes and motto."
Daya Virasamy added: "Which means our Black people have no confidence in The BLF."
Siphesihle Sphek'za Mngoma commented: "BLF Leader is right. People vote for who they have confidence in. The fact that they didn't vote for you doesn't make you inferior, it may mean your level of thinking is not the same as theirs. Andile you wouldn't be approved by the IEC if you didn't have anything to offer in SA politics."
Andile Ngoloma wrote: "I am waiting for Andile Mngxitama to lead BLF to Exile as he promised to prepare for Armed Struggle as he loses 2019 General Elections."
Rampa Tshepiso commented: "These guys needs therapy first then maybe they can get votes."
