The notion of high school sweethearts is pretty commonplace these days.
Quite a few couples fall in love during their teen years and end up tying the knot.
However, the story of Natalie Crowe and Austin Tatman is rather unique as the pair were actually pre-school sweethearts.
They lived in Florida, USA and were best friends at the age of five.
Unfortunately, Natalie’s parents divorced and she moved to a new state.
The pair were apart for twelve long years when Natalie came across Austin’s details one day.
She obtained his social media details and made contact with him.
They made plans to meet up when Natalie visited her father in Florida a few weeks later.
Natalie described the visit, “It was like the second I saw him, it was a friendship that had come back to life instantly.”
Western Journal reported that they went on their first official date on 31 July 2012.
Briefly.co.za gathered that Austin then proposed five years later and the couple tied the knot on 13 April 2019.
The beautiful love story was brought to life through images as the couple shared old pics via social media.
