A video has emerged of ANC supporters staging a DA 'funeral'. In the footage, ANC pallbearers are seen carrying a coffin draped in a DA cloth with wailing mourners following behind.
The staged funeral has a group of ANC mourners singing Noyana Phezulu as the ANC chief mourner weeps uncontrollably.
There are no details available yet about who staged this funeral and where, but Facebook user, Mihlali Mishka Mivuyo, said that it's at the University of Fort Hare.
Most social media users were left in stitches but others were not too amused.
Facebook user Travis Mabhoyi said:
"SA will leave you speechless."
While Bolokehang Sizwevic Mokoena Musa Sibiya said:
"This country should be marked a psych zone."
Others hilariously offered their condolences to DA supporters, whose party suffered a significant loss in percentage of votes in these elections. Some expressed sadness for ANC supporters who were hanging on to a party that has given them nothing but empty promises.
Siyabonga Shabalala said:
“Our government has pensioners working while young people are consumed by substance abuse. Yes, the video is funny, but the reality is, the struggle still continues."
There's never a dull moment in South Africa.
