Media personality, Papa Penny, took to social media to share his opinion about the results post-elections. He called on the nation to stop the political mayhem and unite as a democratic country once again.
As the counting of the votes draws to a close, Papa Penny had called on Mzansi to unite and stop playing games, which divided its people, in the build-up to the elections.
The gospel singer-turned-reality TV star took to Instagram this week to call for peace and friendship for once and for all.
He wrote: "The game is over, now less go back to our roots."
But could this video post have meant more to Papa Penny? The reality TV star was caught in a fiesty feud with EFF leader, Julius Malema, last week, after Malema called Papa Penny 'uneducated' at a pre-election rally.
It turned ugly on social media with both celebs calling each other out. Papa Penny shared a video to Malema on social media and Mzansi reacted. Then Julius called Papa Penny a cry baby.
Papa Penny told TshisaLive that while he was still waiting for an official apology from Malema, he would practice what he preaches and make peace with the situation.
“I am not against him anymore. Let him live however he wants. I am not fighting anymore. O don’t have beef with him. I just want him to realise that we are not animals that can just insult each other. We are human beings and we must respect one another,” said Papa Penny.
He added that he had sent Malema a message after hearing about the EFF leader’s grandmother’s passing last weekend, wishing him strength and offering his support.
“I sent him a message after his grandmother’s passing. It was very sad. He said thank you very much. We are fine with each other now,” said Papa Penny.
Meanwhile about a week ago, Briefly.co.za reported that despite living a super busy life, Papa Penny, musician and star of reality show, Ahee!, is determined to be a good father. He recently became the dad of his 25th child, and he's intent on not being an absent father for little Penny Penny Jnr.
According to TimesLIVE, Papa Penny says his life has been wonderful since the baby boy's birth.
