Mzansi reacts to the Democratic Alliance winning Western Cape again

The Democratic Alliance has won the Western Cape province again and the people of South Africa reacts to the results.

Its official, the DA has won the majority of votes and retained the province of Western Cape.

As the news broke, Briefly.co.za conducted an online survey to gather Mzansi’s thoughts on the matter.

The Facebook post delivered some controversial results.

The post went viral as it attracted more than 500 comments.

Rofhiwa Gift Moremi said, “It seems like DA is doing a great job in Western Cape so all I can say is congrats and keep up the good work.”

However, not everyone was in agreement and reacted harshly to the post.

Sanelisiwe Anutty Lurai asked, “Good work? Yho bra people I know have been shacks for 20 years under the ruling party in the Western Cape.”
Sakhi Ojay Nkcwayizayo said, “As far as i know Cape Flats and other areas are not clean Guys please stop talking nonsense. DA keep on winning Western Cape because some minority races are united as majority in the Western Cape.”

Briefly.co.za noted that many social media users weren’t happy with the outcome, but many still have faith in the DA.

Thabo Brighton Mothiba Revanewako said, “DA does a good job, the streets are clean and the City looks amazing and it’s still together.”
Saifil Atule added: “That's why Western Cape is peaceful... Although I love ANC. I live in Western Cape before I was in Bloemfontein. Western cape is far better than Bloemfontein.”
Mokone Moabelo said, “Western Cape is clean and beautiful bc s of DA, give it to ANC u will see miracles, it will be dirty in a space of one week.”
