From the title race, top four finish race and the chase for the Golden Boot Award, the 2018/19 Premier League season has been a closely-contested affair in all spheres.
Having missed out on the Premier League title to Man City, Liverpool's striking duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane had to settle for the Golden Boot Award, alongside Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Salah, who was seeking to reclaim the award, moved out on his own with 22 goals after his latest strike against Newcastle, but failed to find the back of the net in Liverpool's last match of the campaign against Wolves.

His counterpart, Sadio Mane, went on to score a brace against the Nuno Espirito-tutored side to move level with the Egyptian.
Aubameyang also struck twice against Burnley in Arsenal's 3-1 win over Burnley to join the Liverpool pair as the league's joint-highest goal-scorers.
Given that the Premier League Golden Boot award is only dependent on goals scored, all the three players will now share the prestigious award.
Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero missed out on the individual top prize by a single goal, finishing his impressive campaign with 21 goals.
