Boer Soek 'n Vrou, the popular dating reality show aired on kykNET, has a huge Afrikaans following and is back for its 12th season.
This time, however, the minds behind the show decided to spice things up and welcome its very first gay farmer.
As usual, there are 10 farmers looking for love, and one of them is Damian, who is hoping to find the man of his dreams to farm with him.
Damian is 37 years old and a cattle and sheep farmer from Bapsfontein. His appearance is breaking new ground for the TV show, according to Channel24.
Viewers of the show will follow the journeys of the 5 farmers who get the most letters from viewers interested in meeting them, and it will all take place over 13 episodes, starting in October.
Afrikaans singer and actress, Leah, returns for a second time as presenter of the show.
