Mzansi TV presenter, Mulisa Mudau, took to social media to announce her new gig to her fans. The TV star will star in Muvhango.
The Real Goboza field resenter, Mulisa Mudau bagged a role in Muvhango as an eager waitress. She always wanted to explore every aspect of her talents and believes this is a dream come true.
Mulisa spoke to TshisaLIVE recently and said even though she left her heart on the audition floor last November, she was still shocked when she was told she landed the role.
“I gave that audition my all. Left my heart on the floor for it. I knew there was a chance that I would get the role, but when I got the call from my agent telling me that I got the role, it was a surreal moment for me. Had to pinch myself just in case I was dreaming. I was very happy and proud of myself.”
Mulisa is already considered a celebrity by many. She said the most fulfilling thing about getting the role as telling her family back home in Venda. She felt extra special when she found out that her grandfather had been an extra on the SABC 2 soapie a long time ago too.
Mulisa said it was her passion for making good TV that pushed her in the acting direction and with the help of an acting coach, she was ready to launch her career in the field.
The TV presenter-turned-actress will play the role of Elelwani, a feisty waitress with big ambitions. Sounds all too familiar. Mulisa hopes this change in career is the beginning of great things for her in the entertainment industry.
“Elelwani is feisty! She’s the kind of girl that doesn’t allow her background to define her. With the little she has, she makes it work!” said Mulisa.
Meanwhile two weeks ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Muvhango actress, Innocentia Makapila wed her long-time boyfriend, Mpho Manchidi, recently. The actress shared snaps from her wedding day with her fans on social media.
