Unemployed men fix potholes, earn money through tips from motorists

Three men have started their own job of fixing potholes on the roads. In exchange for their hard work, they ask motorists passing by for tips.

The men say that they do what they do because they have to pay rent and refuse to resort to crime to make a living.

Even though their efforts do not provide a permanent solution, their hard work is to be admired.

Mzansi social media users were in agreement. Facebook user Leaticia Jacobs said:

"It would be awesome if someone can sponsor some cones for them to block off the road and maybe help them be a little safer when working. Wonder where one could get hold of those cones."
