Pearl Thusi shows sweet side - spends time with gogos on birthday

Pearl Thusi chose to celebrate her 31st birthday in style, as her fans expected, but she also did something unexpected but totally like her - she spent time with gogos from Orlando East, eating cake and singing with them.

One of South Africa's favourite presenters, Pearl Thusi, celebrated her 31st birthday on 13 May and had an absolute blast.

She hosted her birthday bash looking stunning in a gorgeous dress in the stylish Sumo Nightclub in Rosebank.

Guests included her bestie, DJ Zinhle and her man AKA, and other stars like Boity Thulo and Nadia Jaftha.

It was a fabulous affair with flowers, bubbles and music, according to IOL News. However, it was not all Pearl did for her birthday.

Pearl decided to also show her sweet side and spend time with a group of gogos in Orlando East. She met up with the ladies and excitedly enjoyed cake and tea with them.

"I wanted to have my cake, and eat it, with senior citizens."
