Trevor Noah is considered one of the funniest men in the entertainment business and he's now getting credit for his hard work as a comedian.
The South African comedian is one of the Best Host nominees in the MTV Awards for his show, The Daily Show.
He'll be competing for the title against Gayle King, Nick Cannon and RuPaul.
TimesLIVE reports that Trevor won his first Emmy in 2017 for his YouTube comedy, The Daily Show: Between the Scenes.
This nomination comes after there was fear that Trevor's show faced a cut from US TV.
Briefly.co.za reported that the American satellite service, DirecTV, had plans to cut up to 23 channels from its bouquet, and Comedy Central - where The Daily Show is aired - was one of them.
Fortunately, that never happened and Trevor's show has been doing awesomely well.
