A woman recently took to social media to share the heartbreaking news of how online thieves stole from her 87-year-old father.
Sola Salako Ajulo, shared her old man’s experience with internet fraudsters on Twitter.
She said the thieves withdrew over R11 000 from her father’s bank account.
Ajulo said that her father has been in shock since he received the news.
"My 87-year-old father just got hit by online fraud on his Union Bank Account. All his savings of N287,000 was withdrawn; only N1,000 was left in the account. He is in shock. I pray it doesn’t kill him." she said.

In other tweets shared on her page, she disclosed that the bank management has commenced investigation into the issue and hope to get to the end of it.
She also expressed appreciation to everyone that reached out to her family and gave the assurances that her father is in a much better condition.
