Parents host wedding for mentally impaired son - without a bride

27-year-old Ajay Barot from India has always wanted to get married. Unfortunately Ajay has a learning disability, and his parents struggled to find him a partner. Not to be deterred from giving him the wedding of his dreams, however, his family decided to fulfill his dream of a wedding - without a bride.

According to a report by the Indian Express, the family decided to organise a lavish wedding for him. They distributed wedding invitations and organised all the traditional wedding ceremonies.

Ajay dressed up as a groom and around 200 people became a part of his wedding procession, after which there was a grand dinner.

Ajay's brother said that they did it to make him happy.
