A video was shared on social media which showed a thief breaking into a car within seconds and it sparked quite the reaction.

A brazen thief was caught on video breaking into a car in just a couple of seconds and it has gone viral on social media.

According to a report by Times LIVE, the University of South Africa's management team confirmed the incident took place at their Sunnyside Campus and an investigation had been launched into it.

Briefly.co.za gathered South Africans were shocked by the video and they were angered by the person who filmed it instead of calling the cops.

Lazarous Ndhlovu commented: "Instead of filming the Police could have been called."
Tshifhiwa Muofhe Wa Tshirunduni added: "Film maker same Whatsapp group with those guys."
Ernest Chileshe said: "Amazing how many people film this & do nothing about it."
Maggie Githui wrote: "Surprisingly , there is always someone filming the whole thing on the phone that they should be using to CALL the police!!!!!!"
Shlobile Ndlovukazi Khumalo commented: "Hoot or disturb the thief somehow, call police just do something what's the point of showing us what we already know mxm."
