If reports are true, Youth Day 2019 is going to be an epic day - rappers AKA and Cassper Nyovest will put their beef aside and perform at the same event. They will apparently take to the stage for the third anniversary of Join the Movement, a charity.
Rappers AkA and Cassper Nyovest have been 'beefing' for so long, it's hard to imagine them getting along or even going as far as showing face at the same event.
However, if reports are to be believed, that's exactly what will happen on Youth Day (16 June).
According to ZAlebs, AKA and Cassper will join other Mzansi celebs in support of a good cause - the Join the Movement charity.
It's the charity's third birthday and the musicians will perform in Maboloka, Brits.
Join the Movement was started by Isibaya actress and philanthropist, Zinhle Ngwenya, and her husband, Robert Ngwenya’s MZ Ngwenya Foundation.
Briefly.co.za gathered that the annual Join the Movement Festival aims to address the challenges affecting the youth of today, particularly substance abuse and the use of nyaope in the area.
This is a great cause to see AKA and Cassper unite for.
While it's not clear if they'll actually share the stage at the same time, it will still be awesome to see these two perform at the same event.
Other celebs who will also take the stage include Kwesta, DJ Tira, Emtee, Mlindo, Sjava, Busiswa and Naak Musiq.
Best of all, the tickets will be free.
