A woman started university with her two friends but because of her sister, she was unable to graduate with them recently.
A woman took to social media to share how she was heartbroken because she had to witness her friends graduate without her.
According to the lady, who was identified by her Twitter handle @MzobeSonto, she missed out on a graduation because of her sister.
Briefly.co.za gathered she explained her sister used her tuition money to pay her own lobola.
"My two friends I went to varsity with...vtoday they are graduating and I'm not because my sister took my money and pay lobola for herself...vI thought I was okay with it till today... I'm bleeding inside," she wrote on Twitter.
South Africans felt sorry for her and they gave their two cents' worth on her sister's behaviour.
A social media user @bozzie_t commented: "Hayibo. I’m really sorry and hope you graduate soon."
Another tweep, @RiskyMashigo, wrote: "Really sorry you going through that, I had the same issue after a cuz sister was given my fees money to sturdy so she can pay back once she is employed as I was younger, never seen a cent, had to delay my education, it’s not over for you yet, stay positive."
However, one man pointed out the money should have come back to her parents because it was her sister's lobola. But, @MzobeSonto revealed they do not share the same mother so the lobola did not go back to her family.
