South African soccer supporters are waiting in anticipation of Saturday’s Nedbank Cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and TS Galaxy.

The First Division side go into the contest as heavy underdogs, but Radebe cites Chiefs’ form as cause for concern.

Briefly.co.za noted that the Amakhosi have only won one of their last seven matches, which included three losses.

TimesLIVE reported that Radebe urged the club to do some serious soul-searching at the end of the season.

Radebe said, “Based on their performance‚ it’s even doubtful‚ because to be honest they haven’t really performed convincingly throughout the season and that’s why they finished outside the top eight.”

The former Leeds United star feels that the cup final could be the club’s saving grace and this could motivate the players.

Based on Radebe’s sentiments, the contest could go down to the wire.

The match kicks off at 7pm at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
