Helen Zille was at it again - causing waves on social media by sharing her opinion regardless of how it will be taken. Zille said #blackprivilege means being able to loot and get away with it and presenter Pearl Thusi was not impressed at all.
Helen Zille is no stranger to controversy, especially not on social media platforms. She recently shared her opinion on 'black privilege' and it did not go down well.
Zille tweeted that 'black privilege' means being able to commit corruption and still hold positions in government.
This opinion is not a popular one, and even SA's former Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, asked Zille to apologise for what she said, according to News24. She didn't, however, and is sticking to her opinion.
Popular local presenter, Pearl Thusi was very upset by Zille's tweet and shared her own opinion on Twitter as well.
Pearl didn't exactly name Zille, but Briefly.co.za gathered that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who she was talking about.
