"The Hustle" competition winner, Flex Rabanyan, took to Twitter to share that he was selling his car because he was broke. He bravely shared his situation that led him to selling the car. Many social media users applauded him for speaking his truth.
Twitter user FlexRabanyan took to social media and posted:
"I'm broke. Broke. Broke. Broke. I just can't afford owning a car, I can't keep lying to myself. I'm selling my car guys. Here's to a new chapter in financial intelligence."
He won a competition and it seems he spent his winnings; which was money to the amount of R250k and the car. While many questioned how he managed to squander that amount other social media users were filled with nothing but support for the man.

"I respect this black child it is good to press the restart button. Do not get into depression trying to keep up with a life you can not afford. It's not about the set back but the come back. With this decision one would wish you all the best on your journey going forward."

"Unsolicited well-meaning advice: if the distance isn't too much, it might be worth investing in a quality bicycle. my bike cost $500 and I've probably saved $1500 in public transit so far. If it was a car it'd be more like $10k. I see it like this: I'm getting paid to exercise."
"All the best on your new chapter... We live and learn... All of us."
"I had to sell mine because I am going back to school hon anyone who laughs well what they think or feel is non of your business. as much as I miss driving myself around but it is comforting to know I can afford my studie"
