In last night's episode of Generations: The Legacy, doctors approached Kabisi to ask if Jerah could assist them in finding a cure for the Vutha virus. Lucy finally realised she doesn't need to prove to anyone that she is still young and hip. Kumkani asked Tshidi to move out.
After losing Amy to the deadly Vutha virus, Sphe tried to think up a way that they could find a cure. She spoke to Lerato and found out that even though Jerah had physical contact with the original carrier of the disease, Mr Sokhulu, Jerah was immune to it.
She and another doctor decided to see if they could get Jerah to agree to help them find a cure. When the doctor approached Kabisi he was adamant that he was not going to put another member of his family at risk.
But Jerah believed the doctor and volunteered to help. He is going to give his blood for them to test and search for an antidote for the virus. Viewers are already praising Jerah on Twitter.
The scene when Daniel discovered he had the Vutha virus and got beaten up in the shebeen was really hectic for viewers. Goes to show when times are dark, friends are few. When faced with fear, people's first instinct was to beat up the man who had the virus, simply because they were too scared that they would be infected too.
Even Detective Pele, who came to the hospital for a statement from the witnesses, Lucy and Cosmos, said that people should not act like animals just because they don't know what's happening.
Here are some of the comments from viewers regarding that scene:
While many seem to be mocking the storyline with memes and can't believe the show and Vutha virus is trending on Twitter, other's agreed that the rash was too much for them to handle. Take a look at some of the comments below:
Meanwhile, Kumkani had to make a decision about Tshidi. While he still felt the need to be protective over her because she is his wife and she's now pregnant, he couldn't help feeling betrayed and question who she had slept with.
He spent the weekend at Tau's place to calm his nerves and eventually went back home and confronted Tshidi. He asked her to pack her bags and leave. She begged for forgiveness and for them to work it out, but Kumkani was cold as the North Pole.
She didn't even get to reveal the gender of her baby to Kumkani, and when she finally opened the envelope she had no one to celebrate the good news with.
Here are some of the comments on Twitter:
Finally, Lucy realised that she doesn't have to prove to anyone that she isn't old. Mrekza convinced her how much he loves her for being herself, and the Queen of Alex. Also seeing Daniel with the virus may have convinced her that life is too short for her to be dancing in clubs, when she should be with the ones she loves.
