Briefly.co.za reported on the USA’s decision to blacklist Chinese multinational manufacturer, Huawei, and the ripple effect it’s having as Google has now suspended some of its business with the Chinese company.
Briefly.co.za shared the news that the Trump administration has blacklisted Chinese multinational manufacturer, Huawei.
The policy has had a ripple effect and resulted in Google suspending some of its business with Huawei.
However, those with Huawei smartphones will still be able to utilise and download app updates provided by Google.
Briefly.co.za have reacted to the news shared via Facebook and it seems to have had a polarising effect.
Sharmyn Matsetela said, “Jealous huawei its the best its beating apple.”
Siyabonga Ngongoma commented: “SA we facing unemployment in this country because of China cheap labour massive production, as we talking right now they own 30% of the economy of the world,I don't like Trump but thinking about country first that good decision to me.”
Ntuthuzelo Makhasi said, "Competitive and independent countries like China, economically speaking, intimidate and shame the purported claim of American greatness in so many ways!"
Tafari Mpama Madigoe added, “Attitude of imperialism is my way or no way I hope other countries are learning that mix economy is only empowering colonials countries particularly USA. China must block Google, Facebook and Twitter.”
Raedane Raedane said, “That is sinister. Huawei isn't doing what Apple hasn't been doing for years. That's the most childish decision i've ever heard, but then again, I expect that from Donald Trump. Some president are more psycho than others.”
