Mzansi applauds woman who supports hubby after he lost job in 2015

A desperate wife took to social media to try and help her husband find a job after he was retrenched nearly four years ago. South Africans quickly tried to help and they applauded her for standing by her man's side.

On Monday, a woman, who was identified simply by her Twitter handle Nokuthula, took to the social media platform to try and help her hubby.

She revealed he was retrenched in 2015 and has since then not managed to land another job despite having a mechanical engineering diploma with more than 10 years of experience in the field.

Briefly.co.za gathered South Africans immediately tried to help Nokuthula, sharing screenshots and details of available vacancies.

However, while many tried to help, others pointed out that she was the epitome of a good wife. According to social media users, a lot of women would have left but Nokuthula stood by her husband's side and she even tried to help him.

Social media user @Wesley__pipes23 commented: "Your husband is a blessed man to have a supportive wife like yourself. Unemployment ain’t easy. I know the pain. Hope he comes right."
