President Cyril Ramaphosa is officially registered as a Member of Parliament for the 6th administration in the democratic South Africa. Accompanied by Ace Magashule, the drums of war appear to have subsided, for now at least.
Ahead of this weekend's inauguration, President Cyril Ramaphosa registered as a Member of Parliament today.
Arguably the most vital person in this administration, Ramaphosa was accompanied by ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule, with no tension between the two visible.
Briefly.co.za reported that Magashule had insisted that Ramaphosa could not solely be credited with the ruling party's victory at the ballots.
This had led to speculation surrounding the pair's relationship, but if today is anything to go by, all is well at Luthuli House, at least for the time being.
Meanwhile, former president and ANC leader, Jacob Zuma, is fighting to have corruption charges permanently dropped, blaming the NPA for over 10 years of suffering, likening them to the abuse of the apartheid regime.
