- Zille did not find the Schwarzenegger attack funny at all
- She feels that it was another stab at white people as it received little media coverage
- The Twitter streets gave Zille a piece of their mind
Helen Zille was not tickled by the attempted termination of the mighty Terminator. She says that the attack on the former American politician and movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was appalling and was under-addressed “because he is white”.
The former DA leader feels that the lack of media coverage and seriousness of the matter were all down to race.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Zille feels that if it had been a "black American celebrity" whowas attacked, that pandemonium would have broken out. However, poor Arnold was attacked and made a mockery of.
International media houses such as CNN, TMZ, CBS News and The Guardian covered the story widely, but Mzansi media gave it little attention.
Zille took to social media to express her concerns.
This was clearly fuelled from the statement Zille made last week about “black privilege”. It seems that she is on some racial inequality mission to prove that white people are being overlooked and oppressed.
The public decided to give Zille a piece of their mind after she made the post. Mzansi thinks that she is staring to lose the plot.
