Audi driver outsmarts hijackers, drives away at lightning speed

A Durban motorist showed his brilliant driving skills when he was able to outmanoeuvre two armed gunmen as they attempted to hijack him recently.

In a video being shared on social media, the man can be seen seated in his red Audi at the entrance of what appears to be a residential complex in Musgrave Road. A car pulls up behind him and two armed men surround him.

According to TimesLIVE, the suspects instructed him to get out of the vehicle.

The driver, instead, managed to reverse out of the driveway and speed away.

KZN SAPS spokesperson Lt-Col Thulani Zwane said that a case of attempted hijacking is being investigated.

Meanwhile, a video showing a homeowner firing shots at a group of burglars has been released by the police in Kentucky, USA. The surveillance footage shows four burglars kicking in a woman's door at her home. They approach the woman's bedroom before gunshots are fired. The suspects then run for their lives. They can still be heard screaming even after they leave the home.
