Kaizer Chiefs supporters are enduring a tough time following the Amakhosi’s dismal league campaign and humiliating loss to TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday.

Following their mediocre league finish outside of the top eight teams, many felt that a cup success would give the season some form of respectability.

In the aftermath of the humbling loss to the National First Division team, a video has emerged which has rubbed further salt into the wounds.

The video features Kaizer Chiefs football manager, Bobby Motaung, and his statement has rubbed some the wrong way.

Motaung can be heard praising the owner of TS Galaxy, Tim Sukazi, and lauding the team for their historical achievement.

Motaung explains that he is celebrating Sukazi and on Amakhosi fans to embrace him.

Briefly.co.za gathered the Chiefs faithful were not impressed by Motaung’s statement.

Some questioned his state of mind and suggestions were shared that it was made under the influence of alcohol.
