Samaritan buys man groceries after seeing him eat out of garbage bin

South Africans were inspired by a citizen's act of kindness after he saw a homeless young man rummaging through a garbage bin for something to eat.

On Monday, BI Phakathi shared a touching video of himself helping a man who he spotted eating out of a garbage bin.

Briefly.co.za gathered he approached the man, who was scavenging through the garbage bin, asking him if he was homeless and needed food. The man answered that he stays on the streets and would like something to eat.

The video then shows BI Phakathi taking the young man to a Spar where he bought him something to eat and drink.

Needless to say, South Africans were given the feels and they praised BI Phakathi for his kindness on social media.

Jackson Tshiashala commented: "This is love. Let it inspire one more person. Maybe one day all of us we will be on the street helping those in need and they will be no one in need. My dream."
Issie van der Sandt wrote: "Amazing work God will bless you all the way my friend."
