More than 30 000 people expected to witness Ramaphosa's inauguration

It's finally time for Cyril Ramaphosa to be officially inaugurated as leader of the 6th democratic administration. Loftus Rugby Stadium will play host to this event and over 30 000 people are expected to take their seats.

Thousands of South Africans are expected to stream into Loftus Rugby Stadium to witness the historic moment of the inauguration of President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Ramaphosa will become the president of the 6th democratic administration.

EWN reports that more than 32 000 will be present at the stadium and they will be arriving in buses from all over the country.

Security at the stadium will be very tight and metro police officers are deployed in the surrounding area and streets.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the gates will be opened to the public so South Africans can witness the big moment for in person.

There will be other public viewing sites for those who can't make it to the stadium.

Proceedings will be aired live.
