Ligwalagwala FM presenter, Khaya Matchegue, has apparently been fired for posting videos on social media that call on men to give money to their girlfriends and wives. Khaya got heat for the posts that people say 'corrupt women'.
A report by SowetanLIVE indicates that the SABC has fired one of their radio presenters over social media posts.
Khaya Matchegue, a Ligwalagwala FM presenter, has taken to social media to post videos (which have since been deleted) that call on men to give their girlfriends and wives money.
However, this seems to have blown up in her face as SowetanLIVE reports she received backlash for the videos.
People felt that her opinions were 'corrupting women into prostitution'.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the SABC said Khaya's contract with them has been terminated.
She used to co-present a midday show, Khibika Natsi.
"The SABC can confirm that Matchegue's contract has been terminated. However, we will not go into the details of the matter as it is between the SABC and Matchegue."
Ligwalagwala FM also released a statement:
"In view of what transpired over the past week, Ligwalagwala FM management has taken a decision to terminate the contract of Khaya Matchegue with immediate effect."
No replacement for Khaya has been announced yet.
