After two years of emotionally battling through her memories of her late husband, Letshego Zulu has finally finished the book she was writing. As the widow of late South African racing driver, Gugu Zulu, she had a lot to say and decided to pen it down.
It may have taken her two years, but the widow of South African race driver, Gugu Zulu, has penned a book about him.
Letshego Zulu is ready to share her memories and the life she had with Gugu with the rest of the country in her book, I Choose To Live: Life After Losing Gugu.
Gugu passed away in 2016 after developing breathing problems while attempting to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, as reported on by Wheels24.
Briefly.co.za gathered that Letshego has taken to social media to share the date of her book release and reveal what her journey writing the book was like.
"I have been very silently, in my own time, writing my book for the past 2yrs. It's been a challenging yet cathartic experience.
"There were times when I would attend to just 1 paragraph then put it down for a month or 2 before gathering the strength to continue.
"There were plenty of tears, lots of smiles and an abundance of laughter. A bag of mixed emotions really.."
