A man has taken to social media to celebrate the purchase of a new car just a month after his grandmother passed away. Mzansi social media users had mixed reactions to his post.
Twitter user Rudolf Mosoma shared a picture of his late grandmother along with a picture of his car with the caption:
"God took my granny in March and blessed me with this baby in April. She became an Angel very fast."
Some social media users felt the post was insensitive as it looked like he was celebrating gaining the car over losing his granny. Others went as far as accusing him of using her policy pay-out to buy himself a car.
"You bought a car with your Grandma's Policy Money"
While iamOnessimo said:
"We all know where the money came from"
"Did you sacrifice gogo for riches?"
Another Twitter user was very blunt with exactly how they felt about the entire situation, saying:
"You are a disgrace... your blessing is misguided... feel proud about your hard work not dividends that emanate from the dead... your conscious [sic] is clouded with desperation to show off what is not rightfully yours."
There were others, however, who congratulated him on his beautiful new ride.
