Mzansi shows support for young golfer flying SA flag in Scotland

Mzansi social media users have shown love and support to 7-year-old Simthandile Tshabalala who is currently flying the South African flag high in a tournament in Scotland.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that South Africans rallied together to help get the seven-year-old golfer and his father visas to participate in an Austrlian tournament. The father appealed to Fikile Mbalula on Twitter and got Mzansi's attention. The visas were granted and South Africans wished the young boy luck.

The boy, nicknamed 'SimTiger', has taken to social media to share that he is currently in Scotland. The tweet read:

"I am proudly parading my country's flag in Scotland. Ready for the European Tour Championship 2019."

Mzansi social media users had kind words of support. Twitter user Missmathabo8 said:

"Go boy. You make us proud."
