The American rapper was arrested for being in possession of weapons earlier this month. According to the Miami Herald, the U.S. Marshals stated that an “extensive investigation” had been conducted by multiple authorities.
Briefly.co.za reported that on May 15, Kodak was released on bail of just over R8 000 ($550,00). However, Judge Federico Moreno labelled him as a “danger to the community” and suggested that he be locked up during his trial.
The 21-year-old rapper had a long list of priors which were taken into account when Judge Federico Moreno made his decision.
Kodak is sitting awaiting trial in prison and could face up to 10 years behind bars for his actions.
