South African social media users choose own cabinet of ministers

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced his cabinet earlier this week and there were a few surprises. While some were happy with the changes, others were left a little disappointed. Some Mzansi social media users decided to create their own cabinet as a result.

The announcement was hosted on Twitter by popular user Christo Thurston. Here is your list of ministers:

1. Minister of Education

Mamokgethi Phakeng, UCT Vice-Chancellor was found most suitable for this position

2. Minister of Correctional Services and Social Development

Daniel Marven, the popular trendsetter and man with the most skin smoothing filter was elected for this role.

3. Minister of Finances and Tithes

Jesus made it to the list @uYesuKrestu was elected to manage the country's finances.

4. Minister of Intelligence and Diphiri

The man who is always spilling files on Twitter, Man's Not Barry Roux was elected in the apt role of heading the intelligence division.

5. Twitter's Basic Education Minister

Panyaza Lesufi was the only politician to feature in this list.
