Kelly Khumalo opened up about how she feels women are treated unfairly and as a result, Mzansi is divided between supporting her and being scornful. The subject of Senzo Meyiwa's death is still a sore one.
Kelly Khumalo opened up to her fans on Instagram about how she feels regarding the way women are treated by society.
Briefly.co.za reported that the singer is angry that, according to her, everything that goes wrong is put on the shoulders of women.
"My anger comes from the fact that everything in our society is a woman's fault. You get raped? You deserve it because you weren't dressed appropriately. It is a woman's fault.
"You lose your spouse in a crime, it is your fault and you become the number one suspect."
Kelly was referring to the untimely death of soccer star, Senzo Meyiwa.
This has South Africans torn in two.
There are those who support Kelly, but others are still upset over the lack of closure for Senzo's murder - a lot of people blame the celeb because Senzo was in her home when he was fatally shot.
Here's what people had to say:
We need justice for the Meyiwas please.
Women are subjected to this nonsense all most everyday in South Africa....handsOff.

Eeish come on people give this lady a break...
If Senzo wasn't cheating on his wife with you... 99.9% chance he'll still be alive... ladies please stay away from married men...
I think people need to take it slow on her.this lady goes through much.too much pressure on her, then don't be surprised if she commit suicide.it's too much now go easy on her guys
