Young women inspire Mzansi to become pilots – “Queens of the sky”

Social media went gaga for a group of female pilots recently.

Photos of the women were shared by twitter user, @MafokoKopano, on Thursday and immediately struck a chord with social media users everywhere.

Briefly.co.za noted that the tweet went viral, achieving a staggering 10 000 likes in the process.

A few things stood out and sparked added praise from tweeps – the pilots were not only female, but they were beautiful, young and black.

It was also delightful to see how the young pilot encouraged others to pursue their dreams.

Aside from showing great humility, she was eager to guide others on securing bursary opportunities.

Briefly.co.za noted that the ladies had their private pilot licence based on the number of bars on their jackets.
