Rise above hate: Woman’s post about people teasing her inspires Mzansi

A young woman shared a post on social media explaining how she deals with people calling her ugly and it inspired South Africans. They loved her positive attitude and were quick to tell her she's actually beautiful.

People can be cruelly judgemental and it can hurt to be disregarded because of your looks, but one brave woman decided she won't let that get to her.

A young lady, identified as Tsiko Mbedzi, shared a Twitter post reflecting her bright and positive personality.

She said that she won't let the fact that she was called ugly as a kid prevent her from going on with her life.

Tsiko also showed what a great sense of humour she has by adding that she sleeps well at night (and day) with her 'ugliness'.
