Cancellation of wedding ceremonies on the day of the event seems to be an unbecoming trend that many intending couples are committing to lately.

A social media user who was recently a wedding guest shared yet again, another worrisome story of a groom who arrived at the venue for his white wedding ceremony with an announcement that the ceremony has been cancelled.

The lady, who was identified as @_haystar, shared her experience on the popular micro-blogging platform, Twitter, and she revealed the identities of the couple. But many users believed its not about where the bride or groom came from but what really matters is the heart and motive behind it.

She said guests were already seated in the hall when the groom came bearing the disturbing news.

@_ haysstar further disclosed that the couple held their traditional wedding ceremony on Thursday, May 30.

“So today, we went for a wedding, got there, sat and we were waiting for the arrival of the couple. Only for the groom to walk in and announce that the wedding has been cancelled. I’m still shocked,” she said.
