South Africans were given the feels over a video of Dr Kgosientso Ramokgopa's family celebrating on his graduation day.
Previously, Briefly.co.za reported that the ANC congratulated Gauteng MEC for Economic Development, Agriculture and Environment, Dr Kgosientso Ramokgopa, on graduating with a PhD in Public Affairs from the University of Pretoria.
Over the weekend, Ramokgopa took to social media to share a heartwarming video of his graduation - which he dedicated to his mother.
"I have handed over the first Phd to my special mother. She will carry the "Dr" title, because she deserves it. It is a promise I made to her when I was young, so I will retain the Sputla title, until I get a second one. #TheRamokgopas #Education," he captioned the post.
In a post which has since been deleted, Dr Ramokgopa shared the same video, writing that it showed members of his family celebrating different academic achievements.
His graduation posts inspired Mzansi, who praised him in the comment section.
Social media user @VkVukile commented: "You are so humble, the best thing you have done is to celebrate ko Kasi. Am sure the youth around there is inspired. Congratulations Dr Kgosientso Ramokgopa."
Vatiswa, who goes by the Twitter handle @Vatiswa24972256, added: "Ayeye. We thank God for Dr Mme R. His mercies endure the forever. As you go for the 2nd one congratulation for getting this for her. Onwards and upwards is the only way to top. You such an inspiration."
