The club’s star midfielder, Thembinkosi Mbamba, tragically lost his life and was laid to rest on Saturday as reported by Briefly.co.za.
Now, the club has been rocked again following the death of coach Dan Malesela’s eldest son.
TS Galaxy announced the passing of 32-year-old Katlego Tumediso Malesela via their social media accounts.
Briefly.co.za understands that he passed away while on duty overseas.
The dramatic shift in fortunes couldn’t be more stark for the National First Division club.
TS Galaxy were celebrating their unexpected triumph in the Nedbank Cup just a few weeks ago.
SowetanLIVE reported that the club initially delayed their trophy parade to mourn the loss of Mbamba.
A new date is expected to be announced now again following the loss within the Malesela family.
