“Eff like a stubborn naughty child” – SA irate over clash with cops

The EFF are no strangers to controversy and it was no different on Monday following the release of a video via social media.

The This is South Africa Facebook group shared the video via their page and included the caption: “EFF official clashing with police.”

The controversial video shows a clash between members of the EFF and police officers.

A man can be heard taunting the policemen to “kill her” referring to a fellow EFF female member.

Then, the female member approaches the officers as well and dares them to kill her as well.

Based on the EFF members’ reactions, the indications are that one of the officers may have issued a threat prior to the recording.

However, the footage itself shows no foul play and the officers end up doing well by diffusing the situation.

Briefly.co.za could not verify more specifics regarding the footage or when it was taken, but noted the reaction from South Africans.

It soon became clear that the video sparked a huge public outcry as many called for the EFF officials to be arrested.

Thasneem Hoosen said, “If they can perform like a bunch of banshees in the House of Parliament ... so it is only "appropriate" of them to behave like streetwise hoodlums disrespecting the law officers. Good thing they r black officers else those things would have cried racism."
Paul van den Berg added, “No respect for each other. No respect for law and order. I warned my family and friends during 1992 to prepare for the Africa element in the new South Africa. They laughed at me. Now they are silent.”
Paul Smith said, “Cowards .... Only vocal in groups.”
Riana van Rooyen added, “Eff like a stubborn naughty child. They keep on trying their luck. But the wheel is turning. Fast.”
Faizel Cassim asked, “Why can’t they just arrest these farts?”
Qhinebe Gqugqugqu Duka Namahlathi commented: “One word for these eff idiots: Unintelligent, intellectually bankrupt, undisciplined, dumb-assed Zombies.”
