Petrol attendant rescues abandoned baby, gives Mzansi the feels

A petrol attendant rescued a newborn baby who was abandoned in the bushes near the filling station.

On Wednesday, Engen uShaka convenience center shared a heartbreaking story on its Facebook page.

Briefly.co.za gathered the center revealed one of its petrol attendants rescued a beautiful baby girl, who could not be more than a few days old, from the bushes near the service station.

The post read:

"This beautiful baby was abandoned in the bushes at our service station @engenushaka our attendant found her and she is approximately 2 to 3 days old. If anyone has any information regarding this child or has seen anything could you kindly contact us on 0313320858 or send us a message. The child is in a care facility temporarily. "

The post sparked quite the reaction on social media and an emotional Mzansi thanked God for protecting the child until the hero petrol attendant found her.

Lebogang Sonia Motimele commented: "Such a lovely and cute baby...Thank God for shielding her."
Mayon Saaiman added: "Thank you Lord that this baby was found."
Yolanda Shangase wrote: "this just breaks my heart....poor baby. Thank God she was found alive!"
Nolene Govender said: "God's destiny for this angel is great .I pray for a good home for her."
