Teen writes mom letter after skipping school, Mzansi in stitches

Social media users were left in stitches after a lady shared a letter her brother wrote their mom after he skipped school.

On Tuesday, a social media user, who was identified as Sarah by her Twitter handle, shared two photos of a letter her teenage brother wrote their mother after he missed the bus to school.

She captioned the post: "never forget the time my brother missed the bus and wrote my mom this note."

The hilarious letter featured pros and cons of him staying at home. One of the pros read:

"Today was gonna be a bad one, can't get over my hair."

Briefly.co.za saw one of his cons was that his mom would have to call the school and lie.

"You have to call the school and tell them I've got Polio."

Sarah added that her mother ended up allowing her brother skip the day.

"Update since everyone wants to know, YES. My mom let him stay home. how could she not?!" she wrote.

The post had social media users in stitches and they were quick to give their two cents' worth on the letter in the comment section.

Social media user @Valthehbic commented: "Next time I call into work sick, I need your brother to write my sick note to my boss."
