Haibo - Video shows motorist using Clicks Club Card as licence

A motorist was caught red-handed driving without a valid licence. However, if you do not have a PhD in forgery, faking government-issued documents can be tricky and one motorist learned it the hard way.

Getting one's licence is tough - no argument here. However, some people go to extreme lengths if they failed to legally obtain their licences.

A video was shared online which showed a motorist getting caught using a fake licence. The creative motorist printed the details of a licence and glued it to a Clicks Club Card.

Briefly.co.za gathered the video showed a traffic officer showing the supposed licence before peeling off the copied information.

"You see, this is a Clicks card behind..." one of the officers said while peeling of the licence copy.

The video was shared on Facebook by Isec Security and it gathered over 2 000 views in just a couple of hours.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, Briefly.co.za reported a pilot was exposed for flying with a fake licence for more than two decades.

For over 20 years, William Chandler duped SAA by flying without a valid pilot's licence. Earlier this year he was forced to step down, but he could not escape legal action.
