Armed thugs snatch briefcase from car in 30 seconds – “Straight setup”

- A video showed how an armed robbery took place within the airport industrial area of Cape Town

- Just as a vehicle enters a premises, a group of armed bandits run in and force the driver to open the boot

- The men then get away with a briefcase allegedly filled with cash and some social media users feel it was an inside job

A video showed how an armed robbery took place in broad daylight within the airport industrial vicinity of Cape Town.

Thanks to cctv footage, the crime was caught on camera and reveals that the brazen robbery occurred in under a minute.

The video was shared via twitter by Bosbeer (@Bosbeer2006) on Tuesday.

What immediately catches the eye is the speed of the whole operation.

The thugs immediately raced into the premises as the vehicle entered.

Without any hesitation or debate, they almost instinctively instructed the driver the open the boot and hand them a briefcase.

Briefly.co.za understands that it contained cash, although there are some conflicting reports.

All the while, the security gate remained open and enabled them to make a quick exit.

Twitter users smelled a rat and shared their suspicions in response.
