Billionaire who cleared student debts starts paid internship for needy

A kind billionaire who settled student debts for university graduates has now started an internship program for underprivileged students.

Robert Smith has launched a program dubbed InternX that will see students of colour bagging paid internships in STEM fields.

According to Fox 5, the companies participating in the revolutionary move include: AT&T, PriceWaterHouseCoopers, Deloitte and CitiGroup.

The tycoon first made headlines when he decided to wipe clean college debts for Morehouse College students in May 2019.

The philanthropist caught his beneficiaries by surprise and what followed was unbelievable admiration and applause.

The online community also stepped in to sing his praise as everyone said they wished all tycoons followed in the billionaire’s footsteps.

Seems like the rich are slowly helping the poor to climb up the ladder.

As earlier reported by Briefly.co.za, Singapore’s wealthiest man said no amount of money could ever come close to the love of Jesus Christ.

Phillip Ng Chee Tat during an interview with Believers portal said his life changed the moment he gave his life to God.

“I have discovered all of us are broken, we all have a missing piece. For me, I discovered the missing piece was God in Jesus Christ,” he said.
