The daughter of Morgan Tsvangirai, the late Zimbabwean politician, has died a month after the horrifying car accident which took the lives of two other passengers in the vehicle.
Vimbai Tsvangirai has passed away almost a month after her accident near Kwekwe in the Midlands province.
Vimbai had been travelling to the Movement for Democratic Change's provincial caucus, held in Bulawayo, when the accident took place.
IOL reports that Vimbai's campaign manager, Paul Rukanda, and her late mother's cousin, Tafadzwa Munzwa, had died from their injuries after being trapped in the vehicle for over an hour before emergency services arrived.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has expressed his condolences to the MDC Alliance party and the Tsvangirai family.
Vimbai's mother, and wife of the late Tsvangirai, had died in a car crash back in 2009, leaving her husband injured just a month after being sworn in as the country's Prime Minister.
